New hotels opening

After a 2025 that saw the opening of 46 new hotels and resorts, there are still dozens of hotel projects ready to see the light of day in the new year. Notable openings slated for 2026 include the Outbound Yosemite Resort, a new resort experience in the Yosemite region that combines modern design and elevated comfort; The Baby Grand, which brings boutique elegance to Coronado with sophisticated ocean-view accommodations and fine coastal dining, while The Kali Hotel & Rooftop, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection, is set to open in Inglewood. There is also The Elene, Napa Valley's newest boutique resort and dining destination, while just before the end of 2025, Hard Rock Casino Tejon opened its doors as the first full-service casino and entertainment resort in Kern County. The Under Canvas Yosemite, on the other hand, offers an exclusive glamping experience with safari-style tents surrounded by nature, combining comfort and sustainability. In the luxury segment, the Six Senses Napa Valley is a resort that combines wellness, luxury and the charm of vineyards. In 2026, the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara will also reopen following a thorough renovation, unveiling revamped interiors and a refined culinary offering. Finally, many of Beverly Hills' most iconic hotels, including The Beverly Hilton, The Beverly Wilshire and The Ermitage Beverly Hills, are undergoing major renovations to unveil new luxury experiences later this year.
