NewPrinces runs after record 2025 accounts, down Centrale del Latte

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Record 2025 accounts give wings to NewPrinces. The agri-food group's stock is the best in Piazza Affari, while the FTSE MIB is also up. Weaker, on the other hand, the subsidiary Centrale Del Latte D'Italia, which is also coming off the back of its annual results.

In order, NewPrinces ended 2025 with consolidated revenues up 80.4% to EUR 2.96 billion and a record net profit at EUR 383.4 million (+133.6%). "In a complex macroeconomic environment, characterised by vcommodity cost volatility and an uncertain geopolitical framework, the Group demonstrated a distinctive resilience and executive capacity, recording record results on all key financial indicators," recalled chairman Angelo Mastrolia. In addition, "the acquisitions of Princes Ready to Drink, Plasmon and Carrefour Italia have transformed the Group into an integrated and diversified operator, present along the entire food chain," said the Chairman.

"Chairman Mastrolia maintains a constructive tone and sees the group well-positioned to take advantage of further growth opportunities also through M&A, strong net cash position," Equita analysts point out. The experts emphasise that the "beat on cash generation is significant": the group registers an underlying Free Cash Flow - calculated on the pre-acquisition perimeter - of 160.4 million and an Fcf cash conversion of 76%. This performance, according to the experts, is due to both the contribution of Carrefour, which is estimated to have generated more than 50 million Fcf in the fourth quarter, and the organic business. Princes Uk alone generated about 50 million Fcf in the quarter. Less brilliant, on the other hand, were the numbers of the subsidiary Centrale del Latte, with revenues rising only 0.5% to EUR 351.5 million in 2025, but net profit up 5.2% to EUR 4.6 million.
