Si tratta di voci autorevoli che possono aiutare i tantissimi che soffrono di una delle varie malattie cardiovascolari – responsabili del 44% dei decessi in Italia - per riconoscere gli eventuali sintomi, non sottovalutarli, e capire come vanno trattati con il ricorso, per esempio, a un’assistenza medica specialistica che oggi è in grado di dare risposte sempre più efficaci. Ma quello che emerge sempre dalle indicazioni degli esperti è come sia diventata sempre più cruciale la prevenzione. Che non è più solo quella tradizionale fatta di stili di vita corretti, alimentazione sana e movimento, ma anche di una prevenzione sempre più mirata e personalizzata e tagliata su misura di ogni paziente in base alla sua mappa del rischio cardiovascolare.

These are authoritative sources that can help the vast number of people suffering from one of the various cardiovascular diseases – responsible for 44 per cent of deaths in Italia – to recognise any symptoms, not to underestimate them, and to understand how they should be treated, for example, specialist medical care, which is now able to provide increasingly effective solutions. However, what consistently emerges from the experts’ advice is just how crucial prevention has become. This is no longer limited to the traditional approach of healthy lifestyles, a balanced diet and physical activity, but also encompasses increasingly targeted, personalised prevention, tailored to each patient based on their individual cardiovascular risk profile.
