Welfare / €100 maternity bonus for working women with two or more children

For working mothers with two or more children, whose income from employment does not exceed 40,000 euros per annum, the following shall be granted, with effect from 2027: an income supplement of 100 euros per month for each month or part thereof during which the employment relationship or self-employment continues. At the same time, the partial exemption from social security contributions for working mothers, currently in force until 31 December, is repealed. To support parenthood and the work-life balance, a voucher of 500 euros per month (for a maximum of three months) is being introduced on a trial basis for the three-year period 2027–29 for self-employed workers, to be used for the purchase of babysitting services or to cover the costs of childcare services.
