Six new measures in the 2027 budget, from education to transport
Building bonus / The increase from 50 per cent to 65 per cent for energy-efficiency refurbishments has been scrapped
The increase in the energy efficiency bonus for buildings from 50 per cent to 65 per cent will have to wait until the second stage of the Budget Bill, when parliamentary amendments are considered. In the draft Budget Bill sent to the Chamber of Deputies on Friday evening, the 50 per cent income tax deduction for expenditure on building renovation, energy efficiency improvements and seismic risk reduction on main residences is extended until 2027, and to 36 per cent for expenditure relating to other properties. The 50 per cent tax relief on expenditure relating to the purchase of furniture, up to a maximum of 5,000 euros, intended to furnish the property undergoing renovation, has also been extended. In this case, there is no distinction between a primary and secondary residence.
