4 things to do in the Aosta Valley

In the Aosta Valley, evenings in the Alpine valleys are full of sights and become stages for films, talks and discussions. These include the events organised by Cervinio CineMountain, which, until 1 August, focuses on discussions about life in the mountains and ecological challenges, confirming its status as a venue for dialogue between cinema, nature and contemporary issues through 50 screenings. In Cogne, meanwhile, the Gran Paradiso Film Festival focuses on the debate surrounding ‘Dominion’ and coexistence, exploring topics ranging from history to the economy, and from the environment to society. In Courmayeur, there are several events as part of the ‘Sotto il cielo di Stelle’ festival, which aims to explore the relationships between art, technology, artificial intelligence and the human impact on space, whilst in Aosta, after a tour of its artisan workshops, you can head up to 4,000 metres for some of the summer’s most beautiful concerts.
