Olympic refuges: gourmet stops and high-altitude views at the Games venues
Baita Passo Feudo, sport and views in the heart of Val di Fiemme
Straddling Predazzo and Tesero, at an altitude of over 2,100 metres, we are in a border outpost overlooking some of the most striking views of the Trentino Dolomites, from the Lagorai chain to the Pale di San Martino. The hut can be reached by the Latemar MontagnAnimata lifts (the Gardonè-Passo Feudo chairlift station is just a few steps away) and the large sun terrace is its calling card: an open space where you can be lulled by the breath of the mountains and where you can take a break after skiing on the slopes (open three evenings a week, also at night) of the Ski Center Latemar, the district that connects Val di Fiemme to Obereggen. Passo Feudo, however, is also synonymous with slow-paced sporting activities and the ideal place to engage in ski mountaineering and snowshoeing, reflecting the Olympic spirit that is experienced at the bottom of the valley between Tesero and Predazzo. Those who come up here will find a hut that welcomes guests in a family atmosphere, amidst wooden interiors and a cuisine linked to the local tradition.
