Rifugio Costaccia: typical cuisine and live music with a view of Livigno

At the arrival point of the 'Livigno - Centro' gondola, at an altitude of 2,362 metres, this refuge is an unmissable stop for those who want to combine alpine taste, views and fun at altitude. The Costaccia is an institution in Livigno for its good food, offered in a cosy, family atmosphere between the sandwich bar on the ground floor and the à la carte restaurant with traditional Valtellina dishes (skilfully revisited with cooking over a wood fire) on the second. Among the house specialities are gnocchi livignaschi, pizzoccheri, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, grilled meats and the famous homemade desserts of the 'Biancaneve' workshop, as well as the typical liqueur 'deer milk' and blueberry grappa served with a ladle. Outside, in the spacious solarium overlooking the Livigno valley, live music entertains those who stop here every day from 12 noon to 3 p.m. for a convivial lunch or snack.
