Autumn charm, adventure and colours in Tallinn
5/7Wine, cider and authentic flavours
Wine, cider and authentic flavours
Autumn is also a time for authentic flavours. Estonian vineyards, located on the northern edge of European viticulture, produce fruit and berry wines that reflect local creativity. The wine road, Eesti Veinitee, links 23 producers who process apples, rhubarb, honeysuckle and Nordic grapes, offering over 77,000 litres of wine each year. The Valgejõe Veinivilla winery is the most northerly in the country and offers tasting experiences in an environment of total immersion in nature. Cider also has a strong presence, with companies such as Jaanihanso Cider House and Tori Cider Farm enhancing local fruit through artisanal fermentation and traditional methods.
