Excursions and spa experiences
The autumn experience in Estonia is strongly linked to nature, and Soomaa National Park is a perfect example. In this unspoilt reserve, before the rivers freeze over, you can explore the landscape by canoe, hiking through peat bogs, birdwatching and admiring the golden reflections of the leaves on the water.
After the adventure, the sauna ritual completes the experience, offering relaxation and purification. On the island of Saaremaa, also known as 'Spa-remaa', spas use local ingredients such as red algae, juniper leaves, spring water and mineral mud for natural, rejuvenating treatments. The Koigi Bog hiking trail is ideal for soaking in the autumn colours and picking cranberries while breathing in the fresh, aromatic bog air.
