Copying in the exam

The first thing to bear in mind is that the examination must be completed. Anyone caught cheating may have the test cancelled or be excluded from the Matura. The decision must be reasoned and also provide for cross-examination, taking into account the student's entire academic record. The rule can be deduced from the general principles contained in Article 5(5) of Ministerial Order 41/2012.

For the Tar the teacher is obliged to "take measures in the face of conduct that does not conform to elementary parameters of correctness, such as that of copying the assigned task". (Tar Liguria, judgment 282 of 6 October 2023).
