David M. Hodne, Commander Army transformation and training command

Dismissal date: 2 April 2026. Hodne was the general who led the Army Transformation and Training Command, the structure created as part of the Army's modernisation effort and linked to the reorganisation desired by Randy A. George, the Army chief of staff, who was also torpedoed by the Trump administration. The command had only been created in December as part of the Army's renewal plan. To be skipped, therefore, is one of the key posts of the reorganisation. Here too, the Pentagon has not given a public reason.
