From fresh truffles to prime cuts of meat at Fienile Monte

Heading over into Trentino, at the foot of the Sella massif at an altitude of 2,260 metres, you’ll find the Fienile Monte. Often described as the ‘smallest and most exclusive chalet in the Dolomites’, this former hay barn nestled along the Sellaronda circuit is a gem with just a few tables: instead of the spartan cuisine of yesteryear, it now serves prime cuts of beef, fresh truffles and an underground wine cellar housing hundreds of prestigious wines to be savoured by the crackling fire.
