In Alexandria, stop at Chicche di Lavanda

Surrounded by greenery at the foot of the Monferrato hills, Chicche di Lavanda is Federica Reposo's farm, born from a passion for lavender and the slow rhythms of nature. In this small oasis of tranquillity, lavender is cultivated using natural methods, producing essential oil and a line of artisanal and organic cosmetics.

All processing is artisanal: hand-harvesting, slow and natural drying, shelling of the flowers one by one, steam distillation. Each stage of the process, from sowing to selling the final product, is designed to preserve the essence and purity of the plant as much as possible. During blossoming, it is possible to immerse oneself in the fields in an explosion of colours and scents, and there are numerous wellness activities offered in the flowering fields such as muscle awakening, grounding and sensory meditation paths, and massages between the rows with lavender syrup cocktails at sunset. In the immediate vicinity of the city is the Lavanda Villa Roveda, in Valle San Bartolomeo.
