Epstein files, how many there are and why they arouse so much interest
Privacy and the personalities involved
Just for being present in papers/videos/photos automatically leads to a judgement of compromise or guilt by public opinion.
Todd Blanche explained that the 'extensive omissions' applied to the documents are necessary to protect the victims - the victims' lawyers agree on this point -, protect sensitive data and exclude child pornography.
The files include emails, messages, interrogation reports, internal FBI presentations, photographs and videos.
Many names appear in unverified documents, anonymous reports or private correspondence.
The Department of Justice itself has reiterated that thepresence in the files does not automatically imply criminal liability (which is why we refrain from listing those involved who often resign from any public office regardless).
We limit ourselves to reporting only the names that recur most often: Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Richard Branson (Virgin Group), Sergey Brin (Google) and Howard Lutnick (now US Secretary of Commerce). In many cases, these are invitations, missed appointments, email exchanges or unverified reports.
