At the Hotel Abi D'Oru, a new destination in I cieli più belli d'Italia

In Porto Rotondo, in north-eastern Sardinia, Astronomitaly has identified a magnificent new destination where one can go stargazing and astronomical tourism: the Hotel Abi d'Oru a few kilometres from Porto Rotondo in front of the splendid Marinella Beach. Thanks to its location sheltered from city lights, it is the perfect address to spend the evenings of the Stag Moon, set against a sky of stars. To celebrate its certification as one of Italy's Most Beautiful Skies, Astronomitaly and the Hotel Abi d'Oru have organised a calendar of unmissable appointments - open to all guests, including outsiders, by reservation only - for astronomical observation with a telescope, at key moments of the summer season, taking advantage of particular starry sky dynamics (29 July, 10 August and 14 September). During all the appointments, 2 Astronomitaly guides and 2 professional telescopes will be present, to experience stargazing and night orienteering sessions, as well as photography sessions of planets visible via smartphone (For info https://hotelabidoru.it/it/).
