Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco organises Full Moon Dinners

Capanna is the most renowned vineyard of the Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco estate in Val D'Orcia, a 490-hectare plot that winds along the ridge of a hill like an enchanting river. Here at its most scenic spot among the vineyards during the nights of the full moon (10 July and 6 September), seated at a unique table, one can convivially share the evening, admiring the moon and tasting delicacies accompanied by wines from the Cantina di Castiglion del Bosco. Located in the heart of the Val d'Orcia Natural Park, a UNESCO-protected site and in the Brunello di Montalcino production area, Castiglion del Bosco is an estate of more than 2000 hectares, whose origins date back some 900 years. This encompasses the ancient ruins of the castle dating back to 1100 AD, a 14th-century medieval church and the hamlet - the historic village, today the heart of the resort. In short, unique landscapes, with unobstructed skies, an ideal stage from which to admire the Deer Moon.
