Birdwatching in the valleys and salt marshes of Comacchio

Accompanied by an expert environmental guide, it is possible to opt for a two-hour walk through the history and nature of the Comacchio valleys, along a three-kilometre route that winds its way along embankments and stretches of water. You pass through places that tell of the ancient tradition of fishing and valliculture, until you reach the casone Pegoraro, a silent witness to this centuries-old art. The valleys are a natural stage where herons, terns and pink flamingos roam freely, offering a spectacle that changes with each season.
