Explorations on the Mincio River Cycle Route

For those wishing to explore southern Garda and the Mincio valley without constantly changing accommodation, the area between Peschiera del Garda and Valeggio sul Mincio represents one of the most functional bases in the entire area. And it is precisely in the municipality of Veleggio, built on the banks of the river where there was once a water park, that Hu Company's Altomincio Village is located, an accommodation facility surrounded by greenery and an ideal starting point to quickly reach Lake Garda and some of the most interesting villages in the area, as well as the not-too-distant Verona and Mantua. The infopoint inside the village functions as a veritable hub of naturalistic, cultural and food and wine experiences, ranging from tastings in the wine cellars of the Lugana, Bardolino and Custoza appellations (Seiterre is just a few hundred metres from the facility) to workshops dedicated to traditional cuisine, from cycling excursions to sporting activities on the river, from guided visits to sites of historical interest to mini-cruises on Lake Garda.
