Trails, hiking and snowshoeing to experience nature in Olympic destinations
From the Fanes waterfalls to the Cinque Torri, Dolomite icons of Cortina
From Ponte Felizon, at the entrance to the Fiames Park, the path to the Fanes waterfalls leads through larch and fir trees to canyons and waterfalls in some of the most spectacular scenery in the Ampezzo Dolomites. The itinerary, which is also accessible from Pian di Loa, is easy, but in winter requires crampons for ice and suitable equipment to tackle short equipped sections that allow you to pass under water. Another itinerary not to be missed is the one that leads from Baita Bai de Dones to the Cinque Torri following a route of about 500 metres in height difference, also suitable for snowshoes in winter. Crossing woods, panoramic clearings and the frozen lake, you reach the Scoiattoli hut at an altitude of 2,255 metres, from where you can enjoy a unique panorama over the Tofana di Rozes and the Lagazuoi.
