From the Netherlands to South Korea all measures to stem the energy crisis
Indonesia, +28% fuel surcharge and up to 13% air tickets
On6 April in Indonesia, increases of 28% on fuel surcharges and up to 13% ondomestic airline tickets were observed.
The Minister of the Economy, Airlangga Hartarto. announced during a press conference that the surcharge will increase from 10 to 38% and that the price of airline tickets will rise from 9 to 13% as a consequence of the war in the Middle East.
Starting on4 April government employees will be required to work from homeevery Friday while the private sector will be encouraged to consider similar solutions.
Hartarto also decreed that private vehicles will be limited to purchasing no more than 50 litres of fuel per day.
Finally, the government announced that it will also try to halve official domestic travel and reduce international travel by a larger percentage.
