Jensen Huang (Nvidia)

Whilst Amodei has become the symbol of the ‘brakers’, Jensen Huang is probably the best-known face of the ‘accelerationists’. As founder and chief executive of Nvidia, the company that produces the chips essential for training AI models, Huang is one of the main financial beneficiaries of the sector’s expansion.

Whilst acknowledging the need to address security concerns, Huang has repeatedly criticised doomsday scenarios regarding artificial intelligence. According to the manager, many of the fears surrounding AI can be managed through engineering, experimentation and the gradual adoption of the technology, without imposing blanket restrictions on research and development.
