The City Museum Collections

In Piazza Ottinetti is the Garda civic museum, which houses three valuable collections: an archaeological collection, with evidence of the city and its territory from the Neolithic age to the late medieval period, an oriental art collection, with a rich variety of objects from China, America, Madagascar, India and Japan, and the important collection of paintings, objects and drawings from the Croff bequest. Included in the exhibition until 1 March is the exhibition 'Olivetti and the Magnum Photographers, Wayne Miller - Erich Hartmann - Henri Cartier-Bresson - Sergio Larrain', which tells the story of the extraordinary collaboration between the Olivetti industry and a number of photographers from the Magnum agency during the last century.
