The 10 most eagerly awaited motorbikes at Eicma 2026
Triumph Bonneville T40
Triumph is expanding the Bonneville family with the new T40 and the T40 Black variant, models that bring the design of classic British motorcycles to a more accessible engine capacity. Scheduled for the 2027 market, they will make their debut at EICMA and will be available globally from late spring next year. The engine is a 400 cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder unit, producing 32 cv at 7,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 36 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The chassis features a dedicated frame, conventional front fork, twin rear shock absorbers and 18-inch spoked wheels at the front and 17-inch at the rear. The styling is reminiscent of the 1960s Bonneville models, with a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round headlight, flat seat and Peashooter exhaust. The equipment includes a 4-inch circular TFT display with connectivity, five riding modes, cruise control, cornering ABS and lean-sensitive traction control. The seat height is 790 mm from the ground and the kerb weight is 191 kg.
