Appointment in Aarhus for The Dome

If you are looking for a "more intimate", less crowded city, that is Aarhus, Denmark's second city that reveals its most authentic side in spring: lively, young and deeply connected to nature, between contemporary culture and relaxed atmospheres, perfect for a slow spring city break. Not to be missed in June at the  ARoS museum is the inauguration of "As Seen Below - The Dome", a work destined to become the largest Skyspace ever created by James Turrell  (an American artist of light art, famous for installations that work with light and perception) in a museum context. Sixteen metres high and forty metres in diameter, like the Pantheon.  An opening with which Aarhus strengthens its cultural offer with one of the most eagerly awaited novelties in Europe: the work is part of 'The Next Level' project, which expands one of the most visited museums in Northern Europe. Visitors will be able to have a sensory experience based on light and perception within an architecture that dialogues with the sky and the city All this next to an already existing icon ("Your Rainbow Panorama"), a colourful circular walkway on the roof of the museum, among the most photographed installations in Europe.
