Landscapes, experiences and discoveries in green Denmark
In the unspoilt nature of the island of Møn
An hour's drive from Copenhagen in South Sealand lies the picturesque island of Møn. It is a land of natural and geological wonders. Two UNESCO sites are located here: the spectacular Stevsns Klint cliffs and the Møns Klint cliffs. In addition, the area of Møns Klint and Nyord Island is famous for being Scandinavia's first Dark Sky Park: an area of minimal light pollution where you can observe stars, the Milky Way and planets in the night sky. In spring, the island of Møn transforms into one of Denmark's most beautiful landscapes: unspoilt nature slowly awakens amidst white cliffs, bright forests and sea-view paths. The forests are filled with anemones and the first wild orchids with their vivid colours amidst the white of the cliffs, the green of the forests and the blue of the Baltic.
