A fire in a tunnel on a Kaprun funicular train near Salzburg in Austria killed 155 people in 2000 most of the deaths occurred on an uphill funicular, but some people died on the downhill funicular and in the station.
The victims were skiers on their way to the nearby Kitzsteinhorn glacier.
Only 12 people survived the fire, which was caused by the overheating of an on-board heater.
