Italy, Viareggio (2009)

On 29 June 2009, due to a broken axle, a railway convoy carrying LPG derailed in Italy while passing through Viareggio station. Four tanks overturn. A 40-centimetre gash opens in one, from which gas escapes.

Three minutes later, the explosions devastated an entire neighbourhood and killed 32 people
