Tyrol, Ticino and Upper Piedmont: between lakes and mountains, holidays in nature
Between Stubai and Naturparkregion Reutte, family destinations
Theme trails, attractions of a different kind and experiences in nature and beyond designed especially for families: Tyrol does not disappoint the expectations of even the youngest guests, and among the novelties for the summer is a new three-day hike (for a total of around 16 km) in Leutasch in the Gaistal valley, with rustic overnight stays in a mountain hut. Also not to be missed is the popular 'Baumhausweg' tree house trail, at the middle station of the Kreuzjochbahn cable car on Schlick 2000, in the valley of the Stubai, while another family-friendly route is the "Wildschönauer Wirbelwind" between the towns of Niederau and Oberau, with a new 3.5-kilometre trail through forests, meadows and watercourses, numerous movement games and viewing stations. For children's enjoyment, the Tyrolean destinations also include the shell-shaped wooden viewing platform of the Triassic Park on the Steinplatte Waidring, in the Kitzbühel Alps, the DragonFly zipline around the Ehrenberg castle complex in the Reutte nature park, the mat slides on the Galtberg in the Stubai valley between the Galtalmsee lake and the Galtalm and Bruggera pastures, and the playground at the new Bear World in Seebi.
