Byd
Byd has been around since 2023, with the official debut of Atto 3 and Han, later joined by Dolphin, Seal and the plug-in Seal U suv. The range now covers compact hatchbacks, sedans and suvs in segments C and D, all built on platforms dedicated to New Energy Vehicles and with domestically produced Blade batteries. The positioning is medium-high, with price lists aligned with European generalists but strong technological leverage on efficiency, safety and Adas.
By 2025 Byd claims more than 11% of the national Nev market, a sign of a much faster growth than the reference segment and a strategy that aims to build a recognisable brand, not just a 'cheap' alternative. Byd's brands also include Denza, dedicated to high-performance luxury models.
