Chery (Omoda & Jaecoo)

Chery, one of China's largest manufacturers and exporters, arrived in Italy in 2024 with the Omoda and Jaecoo brands, dedicated to urban and medium-sized suvs. The first model was the Omoda 5 petrol crossover, with a starting price of around 27,900-28,000 euro, followed by the announcement of an electric version and the arrival of the Jaecoo 7 suv in the upper segment. The Italian site today also promotes Omoda 5 in full hybrid Shs-H configuration, the big Omoda 9 suv and the Jaecoo 7 Super Hybrid, confirming a rapid expansion of the range towards electrified solutions.

Chery has sold over 2.6 million cars by 2024, with 1.1 million exported, and uses these numbers to accredit itself as a mature player
