Franciacorta: a festival to discover the realm of bubbles

The Festival Della Franciacorta returns from 19 to 21 September with a rich programme of initiatives. At Villa Franciacorta, in the municipality of Monticelli Brusati, the guided tour of the winery with tasting of the Millesimati wine cellar is the prologue to the aperitif in the vineyard and the "Sixty metres of taste dinner" served in the 16th-century village: the experience is completed with a "flight" in a hot-air balloon to admire the vineyards and the panorama with the nose down. The Festival also becomes an event at Bonomi Castle, whose fortieth birthday it is. The estate at the foot of Monte Orfano, in the Coccaglio area, will stage the unprecedented itinerant tasting '40 steps for 40 vintages', which will take guests to the winery's symbolic places, starting with a visit to the CruPerdu vineyard and ending in the 'Stanza delle Lucrezie', where the Reserves are kept and where 40 bottles of the historic vintages will be on display to the public for the first time. Finally, two days of experiences between taste and conviviality are also planned at Montina, another historic winery in Monticelli Brusati, with guided tours through the courtyard of Villa Baiana, the underground cellar and the contemporary art gallery (with the exhibition "Simposio - quando arte e vino si incontrano", open until 27 October) and the interactive experience "Create your own Cuvée".
