Galleries, spaces for rethinking culture

Also not to be missed is Le Gallerie in the Piedicastello district (Trento) at the foot of Doss Trento and a short walk from the city centre. This is a unique exhibition space, born from the recovery of two former road tunnels and transformed, since 2008, into a place dedicated to exhibitions, installations, cultural initiatives, study and experimentation. The name itself anticipates the site's particularity: not a traditional museum, but a different exhibition experience, capable of involving the visitor in a direct and immersive way. The Galleria Nera houses large exhibitions and multimedia installations, with exhibition routes that tell the history and stories of Trentino, but not only. The White Gallery is a reference point for temporary exhibitions and events. On the occasion of Milan Cortina 2026, 'Anelli di congiunzione' was set up, a three-year exhibition itinerary that transformed the space into a sort of cultural hub dedicated to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
