Towards Fai della Paganella and Molveno in a sustainable way

For a more intense naturalistic exploration, it is worth (just over 30 minutes) reaching the Paganella Plateau (Visit Paganella), where a project has been launched to experience the mountains in a sustainable way, reducing environmental impact, stress for visitors and residents, and road congestion. Thanks to the expansion of the road connections, active since 27 June, day trippers, visitors, sportsmen and families will be able to count on a public service operating every day, guaranteeing frequent connections from early morning to late evening between Trento and Molveno, abandoning the car in favour of mobility supported by the public service. In Fai there is also the Parco del Respiro (Breathing Park) to rebalance body and mind by practising forest bathing, or you can go as far as San Lorenzo Dorsino, one of the 'Borghi più belli d'Italia' (Italy's most beautiful villages), where you can discover the village's treasures and traditions together with the Greeters, inhabitants and volunteers who tell the story of the village through the eyes of those who live it every day. Or you can reach Molveno, to enjoy the beauty of 'Italy's most beautiful lake', between a picnic, a walk along the lakeside or a mountain bike ride. The numerous connections will also allow trekkers to explore the paths of the Plateau in total tranquillity, without the need to arrive and depart from the same car park or location. And for two-wheel enthusiasts, cycle transport will be strengthened, with new infrastructure such as bike lanes and cycle paths.

Paganella and Molveno then turn into a destination to be discovered in all its nuances, from 19 to 21 June, on the occasion of the XTERRA European Championship, the world's most famous cross triathlon circuit. Sport, nature, wellness and taste intertwine in an immersive experience that goes beyond the competition.
