In Madesimo to experience the border snow

Very few lifts are open on the opening weekend, but starting from the Immaculate Conception weekend, those who choose Madesimo for a skiing holiday should not be disappointed, also taking advantage of the daily ski pass currently on sale for 30 euro. While waiting for the reopening of the Val di Lei served by the new Groppera cableway, scheduled for next season, one can in any case be content with the approximately 30 km of ski slopes distributed between 1,500 and 2,250 metres of altitude present in the district, excellently served and connected by automatic hook-up lifts and easily reached from every point of the town without the use of shuttles. The point of convergence for those who love snowboarding acrobatics and for those who need to learn to ski is the Larici cableway mountain station, where there is hospitality at the refuge of the same name. One of the promotions planned for the season is the 30% discount on the ski pass (valid for both online purchase and at the cash desk) for those who take to the slopes on Tuesdays and Thursdays (Christmas and Carnival periods excluded). Without skis on your feet, there are three possible options: snowmobile excursions up to the Spluga Pass, just a few steps from the Swiss border, skialp and splitboard.
