Kawasaki Kle500
The Kawasaki Kle 500 is a twin-cylinder road enduro that won over many riders in the 1990s and early 2000s with its versatility. Produced from 1991 to 2007, it was designed for all-round use: daily commuting, touring and some light off-road riding. The 2026 version mounts a 498 cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, with 8-valve twin-shaft timing system and carburettor feed; it delivers about 48 hp, in line with A2 licence limits and with torque of about 43 Nm, favouring elasticity at low and medium revs more than elongation. The frame is double-cradle steel, combined with a conventional telescopic fork and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. The braking system features a 300 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc. The weight of the Kle500 is around 180 kg dry, to which the 15-litre fuel tank must also be added; it will be available at dealers in early 2026, in two versions: standard and Se, with prices starting at 6,400 euros.
