Suzuki Gsx-R1000R

The Hamamatsu manufacturer's supersport bike turned 40 years old in 2025, and for 2026 it looks even more fierce, on the strength of its racing experience. The new Gsx-R1000R features standard aerodynamic carbon side fins and a single seat cover, but above all it mounts the 999.8 cc inline four-cylinder, further refined for better performance: Suzuki claims 195 hp at 13,200 rpm, with a peak torque of 110 Nm at 11,000 rpm. On the electronics front, comes the Suzuki intelligent ride system platform that introduces more advanced and intuitive controls: 10-level traction control, updated launch control, bidirectional quickshifter for quick shifts without using the clutch lever and a sophisticated Motion Track Brake System that optimises braking even when cornering. To complete the package, a new lighter and more precise Bosch Imu ensures unprecedented dynamic control. The new Gsx-R1000R will be available next spring at €20,500.
