Kia EV5, the full electric mid-size SUV

When it arrives at the end of the year, this SUV will be the fifth model in Kia's native electric family. Based on the 400V version of the E-Gmp architecture, the EV5 is a mid-size SUV with boxy car styling strongly inspired by that of the smaller EV3 and, on a smaller scale of course, the mammoth EV9, with a minimalist interior complemented by practical solutions including a dashboard topped by a large curved widescreen with three displays: one for instrumentation, one for climate control and one for infotainment. The range is not yet known, but it is certain that it will be available in the same way as the other electric Kia models, in standard and long range versions powered by batteries that can be recharged up to 80% in half an hour for a range of up to 530 kilometres.
