Mercedes GLC EQ, the battery-powered SUV is the first model of a new era
The GLC EQ is the first new-generation Mercedes and bears witness to the brand's stylistic and technological transformation. The line of the new electric suv, despite being the result of new design canons, is not far removed from that of the thermal GLC, but brings to debut a new interpretation of the iconic Mercedes grille that also originates the brand's new family style. Based on the unprecedented Mb.Ea architecture that integrates state-of-the-art electronic and digital platforms, this GLC has an interior dominated by the evolution of the Mbux system that offers an almost one-metre long hyperscreen that runs the entire length of the dashboard. The electric GLC is equipped with new-generation powertrains and batteries, and in the case of the 400 4Matic all-wheel drive version with 489 horsepower it promises a range in excess of 700 kilometres. It should be added that the technologies of the GLC EQ will also be used by the future electric C-class, the debut of which was announced at the Munich Motor Show.
