Les 2 Alpes: a mountain resort open nine months a year

As part of its move towards the Oisans massif, Les 2 Alpes is embarking on an ambitious transition towards an active and sustainable mountain resort model that can be enjoyed for nine months of the year. The real infrastructure revolution, introduced recently, is the new, silent Jandri Express gondola lift, which connects the heart of the village to an altitude of 3,200 metres in less than twenty minutes, providing quick and scenic access for hikers and cyclists. Summer 2026 will see a harmonious blend of high-altitude summer skiing on the glacier until early July and the vibrant atmosphere of the Bike Park for mountain bike enthusiasts. The events calendar is packed, ranging from the legendary, adrenaline-fuelled Mountain of Hell race to the Urban DH 1800 District at the end of July, right through to the traditional parades of the Hay Festival in August. This offering is complemented by eighty restaurants and numerous outdoor activities such as padel, paragliding and rafting along the valley’s rushing rivers.
