The Colours of Vienna

The exhibition set to bring colour to the museum in Vienna from this coming October takes its title from a Cindy Lauper song: “True Colours. Viennese Fashion across Four Centuries” offers visitors an interactive journey through 350 creations from the museum’s fashion collection, selected on the basis of their colour. The exhibition features 18th-century ball gowns and contemporary workwear, alongside accessories and curiosities. It also highlights the work of Viennese fashion designers such as Gertrud Höchsmann, Adele List, Fred Adlmüller, Helmut Lang, Schella Kann and Susanne Bisovsky.
