The Langmatt Museum's exciting masterpieces at the Belvedere

The Hall of Grotesques, the Gold Cabinet and the Marble Gallery are true masterpieces of the Lower Belvedere Palace. They also sumptuously give access to the pavilion used for temporary exhibitions, where until 8 February next one can admire masterpieces loaned by the Langmatt Museum in Baden, Switzerland, for the exhibition Cézanne, Monet, Renoir. Bringing together what is unanimously considered the richest French collection of Impressionist paintings were Jenny and Sydney Brown, heirs to one of the most powerful electronics industries in the Old Continent, who began this emeritus work of bringing together masterpieces in 1908, when meeting Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro and Paul Gauguin was at the mercy of those who loved art. Among the many paintings, from seascapes to still lifes, from portraits to city views and seashores, those by Eugène-Louis Boudin arouse vivid emotion.
