Illuminated trulli for Li.Fe. in Alberobello

Now in its tenth year, the Christmas scenery of Alberobello and its trulli never ceases to enchant: the village has, in fact, been transformed into a stage to host the light installations of artists representing the whole world. The theme of this Christmas is the relationship between art and responsibility, the balance between technology, nature and community. Monumental flowers, the sculpture inspired by Rodin's The Thinker, an interpretation of Van Gogh's Sunflowers, the cloud of suspended blue butterflies, the Church of Sant'Antonio transformed into a luminous gallery are just some of the luminous textures one can come across while strolling through fairy-tale Alberobello. Another bucolic experience to be had during the festivities will be walking along the Bosco Selva paths among centuries-old trees as fascinating as the trulli.
