Where the two seas meet: the Sun Salutation in Sicily

An experience organised in Portopalo di Capo Passero, at the exact point where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Ionian Sea. This is what Country House Villadorata in Sicily is offering for World Yoga Day. It begins at 9 am with a private transfer to the southern tip of the island, followed by a short walk to the beach. Here, at 10.24 am, coinciding astronomically with the start of summer, participants will perform a sun salutation session, designed to align the body with the rhythms of the season. At the end of the session, on the shore, a refreshing dip allows you to feel the difference in temperature and hue between the two seas, combining physical wellbeing with a geographical exploration of the Sicilian landscape.
