Honda Cb750 (1969)
The Honda Cb750, launched in 1969, is often considered the first true superbike in history. With a 736 cc in-line four-cylinder engine, front disc brake and a competitive price, it was a revolutionary offering at the time. Until then, high-performance motorbikes were expensive, difficult to maintain and reserved for a few enthusiasts. The CB750 proved that Honda could produce reliable, safe and affordable high-performance motorbikes. It was nicknamed the 'Dream Cb750 Four' and led Honda to dominate the global market for big bikes. Its influence extended to the entire modern naked and superbike segment. It was so successful that it was even chosen by police forces in various countries. The original Cb750 is considered a collector's motorbike and was included in the National Motorcycle Museum in the United States as one of the most important models ever built.
