Break at the Central Market for Christmas in Jazz
If you are passing through Florence and want to take a taste of genuine gastronomic traditions with you, do not skip the Mercato Centrale. Conceived and founded in 2014 in Florence by Umberto Montano, a passionate and creative entrepreneur with the aim of counteracting the slow disappearance of quality traditional food shops from the city centre, on Christmas night it becomes a place to listen to auteur jazz. Natale in jazz is in fact the initiative that will animate Christmas Eve under the banner of jazz sounds interpreted in the Christmas spirit. Starting at 6.30 p.m., a talented band (Camilla Less on vocals, Lorenzo Consigli on double bass, Giovanni Pecchioli on clarinet and saxophone, and Sergio Rizzo on guitar) will offer those present a unique musical experience, perfect for getting into the spirit of the festivities. Jazz music with its universal language succeeds in creating an atmosphere of sharing and warmth that on Christmas night wants to unite people even more, offering an experience that stimulates the senses with jazz and typical market cuisine.
