Brazil: Baia do Sancho (Fernando de Noronha), breathtaking beauty

Baía do Sancho, located on the island of Fernando de Noronha in Brazil, is a beach renowned for its breathtaking beauty and crystal-clear waters, and is often considered one of the most beautiful in the world. It is characterised by golden sand, jagged coastline and a turquoise sea, ideal for snorkelling and diving. The beach can be reached via a flight of steps carved into the rock, or by a descent through a cleft in the rock, making it a somewhat adventurous but certainly rewarding destination. The best time to visit Baia do Sancho is during the dry season, which runs from August to January. During this period, there is little rainfall and the sea is calm, providing ideal conditions for enjoying the beach and diving.
