Calabria: Tropea (Marina dell'Isola): a postcard beach

In the province of Vibo Valentia, Calabria, Tropea has a picture-postcard beach. Along the Costa degli Dei (Coast of the Gods), it is ideal for a stay from June to September, perhaps avoiding the peak of crowds in the canonical months of July and August. With its fine white sand, incredibly turquoise waters and cliffs topped by a medieval sanctuary, Tropea beach is the jewel in the crown of Calabria. You can choose between stretches of free beach or lidos equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, where you can simply admire the surrounding landscape. The shallow water is ideal for kayaking, while the clear waters are perfect for snorkelling, especially around the rocks.
