Paris Motor Show: the most important Mondial 2026 models
Fiat Multiplay
Measuring 4.45 metres in length, the Multiplay draws on the original Multipla, particularly the concept of making the most of every available centimetre. The bodywork can change configuration thanks to the sliding rear section known as ‘Metamorfosi’, transforming from a family-friendly six-plus-one seating layout to a sort of four-seater pick-up with an open load bed. The front right-hand seat, called the ‘Petsenger’, can serve as a seat, a mount for a child seat, space for a pet or a storage surface, whilst the rear spoiler can be transformed into a bike rack for two bicycles. It is not a direct preview of a new Multipla, but a testbed for future Fiat family cars. Also on display at the Paris stand was the Multiplina, a four-seater electric microcar set to hit the market in 2028 and conceived as an evolution of the concept introduced by the Topolino.
