Summer events in the valley

Between the end of July and August, a series of events on the programme makes a stay in the Aosta Valley even more interesting. Starting with the Alpine Pasture Tasting, on 30 July in Val d'Ayas, which offers a unique experience to discover the link between the happiness of cows and the goodness of cheese. On 2 August, again in Val d'Ayas, there is the Yoga Festival Monterosa, dedicated to well-being and self-discovery. On 9 August in Gressoney-Saint-Jean it is the turn of the 'Concert under the stars', an event in the dark to appreciate the celestial vault in the company of excellent music, while on 17 August - on a hill (Passo dei Salati) at 2,970 metres between the Gressoney Valley and Valsesia - a market of typical products is scheduled, together with tastings of the excellent food and wine products of Alto Piemonte and Valle d'Aosta.
